Fall Colors

We are taking our camera everywhere we go and trying to capture the color as it is changing. There are so many beautiful colors here, and being from the Phoenix valley desert, we don't often get to enjoy the fall colors. Some of you probably know, and love these colors, but we are excited to capture it for our future enjoyment.

This is our lake. Named Lake Chunute. Not a large lake, but pretty never the less.

Kathy had to take a picture of this tree, because of the intense red! It was in Mammoth Spring, AR, which is located right at the border of Missouri, and Arkansas.

Lake Chanute looking Southeast. Our home is somewhere in the trees on the far right.

I had to have a picture of these shrubs.

This picture holds 2 of my favorite things: The beautiful fall colors, AND the restaurant that serves me my FAVORITE breakfast. What is my favorite breakfast? 2 eggs, ozark 'taters, country ham w/redeye gravy! Now blame my father-in-law for the country ham fetish. He got me started on it!

And you are wondering why I put this picture in here? Only because I took it. This is behind the McDonalds in Hardy, AR. Just a picture of a sporting shop for the visitors who like the water sports in the area. Canoeing, zip lines, swimming, boating, etc. This is a tourist area, but we love Hardy.
